Finland

Finland's coastline is over 1,250 kilometers long and stretches along the Gulf of Finland and the Gulf of Bothnia. It's a calm and sprawling network of wooded shorelines, granite islets, and peaceful harbors. It's more defined by its archipelagos than its wide beaches, and the landscape is both rugged and delicately intricate, with an interplay of water, rock, and woodland.

While Finland might not have the sandy beaches you find in more southern places, it makes up for it with serene solitude, complex waterways, and a deep-rooted maritime culture. There are wooden saunas right on the water, wild berries growing near the shore, and the haunting calls of seabirds in the midnight sun. All of these things are part of the timeless rhythm of coastal life in Finland.
